She enjoyed it, and it was great to see her out and about. Actually, during the service we all did a little exercise of writing down what we've done in the past by faith. Things like, "By faith, I jumped off a cliff in New Zealand with a bungie cord tied around my ankle." Or, "By faith, I got in the car with nana yesterday." (ok, i'm kidding, but you get the point). We then wrote out our own little "mini plan" of what we hoped we would do "by faith" in the future. I thought this was an excellent exercise, and it made me think about quite a few things.
After the service we went to Maggiano's, one of my mom's all time favorite places to go when she visits me. Wanna know why? Is it because of the nice wait staff? Maybe. The great location? Not-so-much. Is it because of the food? Sure.
Well, the real reason she loves Maggiano's is because....
She loves LEFT OVERS!!!
And she took home a bag full. It doesn't take much to please mom.
Wish I could say the same, but I'm getting there.
