Couldn't sleep last night. That movie (Changeling) was too intense, and I'm still processing what I saw.
I'm happy to note that my neck continues to show improvements, but unfortunately the pain has been transferred over to Raychel. Poor thing! She let me know today that she had zero range of motion and would probably have to go to the Dr.....what is happening?
Is it the computer?
Stress?
Just being a woman?
Not sure, but I pray she can get better fast. She's coming on the Mexico trip, and we need her healthy! (ha! seriously hope she gets better for other reasons)
In the news today, it seems like this economy also continues to be pain in the neck, and that's putting it lightly. Citicorp announced a layoff of 53,000 employees, and we've had clients tell us they are being forced to take mandatory time off. Most folks are annoyed by this, but would they rather be laid off? I wonder.
Thank God for work, freedom to work and the ability to work. I'm reminded all the time by people that have none of these things.
And, in an effort to minimize my time on the laptop, I'll close by saying the day ended with a lovely time at small group. We talked about the importance of prayer, ways to encourage each other and a project we will do as a group next week to help with the church's clothes' closet. Great idea. Great people. Tuesdays are special.
