18 Days

Tuesdays are always memorable, but busy. This day was no exception.

Only, I got to hang with my "boyfriend", Anderson!! Went over to Sue & Ming's place, hung out with Sue and AJ, and then we ate when Ming got home from work. Such a great late afternoon! And, the rain didn't dampen the day. Their home is always warm, literally with the gas stove and figuratively with their friendship. Anderson is just starting to get his teeth, so I'm avoiding the "nose bite" for as long as possible! Forgot to take a pix with him that night, but here we are. Aren't we a great couple?

Small group was great! We talked about friendships, and Amy had made some delicious food. I brought "healthy" desserts - apples and [light] dip with pumpkin bread. YUM! We went over to the church and started work on the clothes pantry.....I'm so thankful Timothy and Amy had this idea, as it's difficult for people in need to have to rummage through bags and bags of donations....much better to have them nicely laid out to find what they need, and much MUCH better to have items without rips or stains. We sorted through many items, but there's a lot more work today.

Finally, the evening was capped off with some time with my friend, Elaine, up from Tennessee for the Thanksgiving holiday. Again, I forgot to cart around my camera, but she had a camera phone, and we took a shot of us around 11pm....really lovely. HA!
